Winshluss, alias Vincent Paronnaud, is a French comics artist and filmmaker.
He is best known for cowriting and codirecting with Marjane Satrapi the highly acclaimed animated film "Persepolis" (2007), for which they received numerous awards including the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival as well as an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.
With his friend Cizo, he took the reins of the Revue Ferraille (Requins Marteaux ed.) and became a major player in the independent French-language comics. His last book, a very personal version of "Pinocchio", got the Fauve d'Or award (Best Album) at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée in Angoulême.
